3 HEALTHY AND FAST BREAKFAST IDEAS

Serious question, can you eat breakfast at any time of the day? If the answer is yes then keep on reading because this blog post was written FOR YOU.

I can have breakfast ANY TIME OF THE DAY. In this post, I’ll be sharing with you 3 of my favorite breakfast options that I have either in the morning or as a snack throughout the day. I know there’s a rule about never skipping breakfast, and I promise I never do. It’s just so yummy to wake up and have a hearty meal to start your day. I notice a difference in my days when I don’t have a fulfilling breakfast, I’m always moody and a little cranky, so I try to have breakfast I enjoy.

AVOCADO TOAST

I know you knew this was coming (I’ve had so many in Miami), but who invented the avocado toast so I can give them a hug? This one is my top one because it’s the easiest and most convenient option of them all. Avocados are the healthiest fat you can have and the toast is super easy to make. If I am in a hurry or don’t have enough time, this is the choice I go with.

WHAT I USE TO MAKE IT:

Ezekial bread or Rice Cake, 1 Hass Avocado (smash it!), and sometimes I like to add Smoked Salmon.

OATMEAL AND BERRIES BOWL

Probably the least liked of them all, but this is the healthiest option. I love waking up and having my coffee in the morning with a little oatmeal bowl. Its the perfect way to start your day, especially if you’re headed to the gym in the morning or have a meeting. Most people would think of oatmeal as a diet but you can make them super delicious that you’ll forget you’re having oatmeal.

WHAT I USE TO MAKE IT:

I combine 1/2 a cup of Oatly milk with old-fashioned oatmeal (heat this up for 1-minute on the microwave), stir, then I add strawberry, blueberries, and raspberries on top. I sprinkle hemp seeds, almonds, and chunks of coconut. To give it a little sweetness I love adding honey on top of everything.

A DELICIOUS SMOOTHIE

These take the longest to make because if you’re like me you don’t have anything peeled and prepared so you’ll have to prep everything overnight if you want to make a smoothie in the morning — and make it fast! The one I love to make is my strawberry and pineapple smoothie, but you can make whatever you’d like. I like having at least 3 smoothies a week to replace meals and also as a snack throughout the day. I don’t suggest to do a smoothie after lunch because it’s high on sugar.

WHAT I USE TO MAKE IT:

1 cup of Oatly milk, 6 strawberries, 4 pieces of (frozen) pineapple, and whey protein. Mix them all with a good blender (I use Nutri-bullet) and voila!

These 3 have been the best for my fast-paced living and they’re also so healthy! If you have any favorites of your own, definitely share with us!!
