I think I just had one of the best weeks of this year by far. My brother came to visit me and we spent the first official week of summer together. Hanging out and spending quality time, which we haven’t done since I moved out on my own (2 years ago!). Kind of crazy how time flies.

To make the most of our time together, I wanted to remind him of a family tradition that I know we haven’t done in a while….

When I was younger, my mum had a favorite way of rewarding us for having good grades…a trip to Disney! I still recall our first time visiting this magical place with my whole family. My brother was about 4 years old, but I remember he had the time of his life riding the baby rides. The taste of elephant ears and dipping dots has never left me since that very first time at Disney. I wanted to relive these moments with him. Since summer is here and he’s officially a junior in high school this was a perfect time. I joked the whole time that he was old enough to ride the ‘adult’ rides with me now. But, between you and I, I’m the real baby scared of heights and those drops!

First, we started at Disney Springs (formally known as Downtown Disney). You may recall from my previous visit here and here. I was so lucky to have the Disney Spring’s Sephora store give me a makeover look for my day at the parks and I loved it! They used soooo many incredible products, but one that resonated with me was the Sunday Riley CEO Serum to prep my skin. One that I have been religiously using for about 1 1/2 weeks and have noticed how much my skin has brightened up since I first used it. I also wanted to surprise my brother with matching outfits for our day at the parks, like that first time in Disney together. We found the cutest shirts at the Disney Style store. We even styled them outside the parks on the days after. I loved that Disney Style has menswear. It’s so easy for us girls to find cute clothes to wear, but guys always have a hard time. Luckily for him, he found multiple styles to wear at the store! I highly recommend stopping by the store to shop for Disney apparel before heading to the parks.

I love my new Minnie ears as well, I’ve never had dusty pink ears and now I do!

We decided to honor my mum since I’ve yet to meet anyone as in love with Mickey as she is and visit Magic Kingdom. The good thing about Disney is that you have not just one park, but multiple parks that you can visit. I highly suggest doing the annual pass if you live in FL or buying the park hopper passes if you’re an out-of-state visitor so that you can visit all of them and get to enjoy them. Our favorite is definitely Magic so we were so happy to spend the day there together thanks to Disney!

You have to know this about me, I’m always a little scared of rides with heights, but my brother Anthony is such a trooper. He pushed me to do the most and face my tiny little fears. There’s definitely a high appreciation for having siblings that are the TOTAL opposite of you. We really had so much fun at the parks and cannot wait to go back soon… with mum this time because we missed her terribly!

Hope you enjoyed reading about our adventure at Disney, I also have a vlog! thank you so much for reading, xo love you muchooo!
