Black Winter in Miami – OOTD

It’s here! It’s finally winter in Miami! Yes you definitely read right. Just yesterday the weather was below 60 degrees. If you live in colder areas, 60 degrees is freezing for us. We are finally having bonfires and wearing turtlenecks to ease into the cold season. I’m not the type to wear layers of clothing with this chilly weather. Instead, I came up with this ensemble the other day that kept me warm, but comfortable enough to endure the humid temperature midday. Here, I’m wearing a mini black suede dress, a black jean jacket, and my new favorite bad boys.

I truly love black right now; it’s probably my go-to color at the moment. If you’re from New York, you know that’s the native color all year round. In Miami, not so much, but who cares, this year is all about stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things even if it means changing your style a little bit.
I’m also wearing my current favorite liquid lipstick by Ofra Cosmetics in the shade Americano. I’m wearing it every chance I get, specially if I’m wearing all dark colors. I’m also super fond of wearing sunglasses lately. I think this year I will start a little collection of them.
I’ve been all about sneakers since fall last year. So I went on an online shopping spree and as you can see I did not hold back. I had been dying to get my hands on all of these. You should expect them on future OOTD posts.

I wanted to get myself comfortable shoes that would coordinate with all my gym outfits, so I went with all black Nike Roshe runs. You can find them here.

I have quite the story behind these red and black vans. On my recent roadtrip to Georgia, I stopped by an old train station turned into a fashion outlet where I found my red vans. At first, I fell in love with the black suede shoes but they didn’t have my size. I was hesitant about buying the red ones. I couldn’t say no after trying them on. Right when I got home I was able to find the black ones here.

If you’ve been following my social accounts like, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat (Josscastillo), you know that I have been strolling around with the Adidas original superstars across the globe. They are thee most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I understand now why my mom would only buy me these when I was younger. I love wearing these, I had to get them in a different color just because. I’m already planning my next color and i’m thinking all gray.

I’m wearing :

Dress: Revolve similar here | Jean Jacket: Vintage but similar here |  Shoes: Vans of The Wall | Sunglasses: Metal Forever21 | Clutch: handmade but similar here.
