Hiking the canyons was no joke. They were not kidding when they said July was the hottest month recorded in history!! But at least we got to mentally prepare in the coolest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in (seriously just look at all the pics and check it out if you’re planning to stay in Joshua Tree). Keep on reading below to see my travel guide to Zion!

  • Wake up early (7AM-ISH!) and head towards Zion National Park
  • Take any morning photos for the gram at this gorgeous Airbnb
  • Drive to JT Coffee (61738 Twentynine Palms Hwy), but anywhere in the town is good too!
  • Pass by Las Vegas Nevada for lunch at Cafe Lola (4280 S Hualapai Way, Suite 109, Las Vegas, NV 89147)
  • Arrive to Wander Camp here  to stay near Bryce Canyon.

OR you can go straight to park

  • Head to Zion National Park and Hike Angels Landing
  • Have Dinner at Zion Town (Whiptail Grill is super good!)
  • Back to the hotel/camp site (but I always suggest to arrive earlier, because in darkness can be dangerous)

Not going to lie, it was pretty brutal out here, but the views were so worth it! If you’re up for the challenge I definitely recommend the Angels Landing hike one day.

  • Wake up early!! (Even if you don’t want to, you will because the sun is up and early here!)
  • Drive to Zion Town and grab Breakfast/Lunch at Cafe Soleil or anywhere in Zion Town.
  • Hike the Narrows for 2 hours in Zion (Be ready to spend the majority of the day here)
  • Visit Bryce Canyon for a hike.

Driving the 2021 Buick Envision was incredible during this trip. It had so many amenities that we NEEDED for a successful road trip.  With a built-in Alexa, we had a handy friend for any questions we had, including finding us the nearest coffee shops & gas stations along the road. I also loved how everything was touch AND the incredible sunroof and made us enjoy the trip even more! If you’re looking for a fun car to drive, definitely look into the Buick Envision. The drive was smooth!

*A big thank you to Buick USA for partnering with me on this road trip!*

Let me know if you’re traveling to the Canyons soon!!
