STAYING AT THE ROYALTON PARK AVENUE IN NY

When you travel as much as I have lately, hotels can become just hotels. To impress me it’ll have to take a ROYALTON to do the job. I was DYING to go to NY! As usual finding the perfect place to stay is always the tricky part about visiting the city. Do you stay in Manhattan? Do you stay in Brooklyn? Where do you stay!?

Thankfully, Royalton Park Ave Hotel hosted my visit. I had thee most Carrie Bradshaw moment when getting out of the Uber and inside the hotel lobby.

My JAW dropped. The hotel is gorgeous. Located east of Manhattan, right in the center of what divides Midtown and Downtown, you’ll find yourself entering a dark charcoal skyscraper. Inside the lobby, you’ll find a very chic-style waiting area accommodated by a warm and soothing fire place.

I arrived very early and didn’t think I was going to be able to get an early check-in. Reception in front desk was able to help me and check me in 3 hours before my actual check-in! I was so happy, early flights can be tiring and relaxing for a little while was very much needed.

After getting comfortable and accommodated into my gorgeous room (which, I filmed a room tour for you guys here), I decided to checkout the rooftop everyone has been talking about. I’ve seen the Empire State building up close and from a distance, but never have I seen it the way it faced the Royalton. It was perfectly placed so that you can be swimming in the pool on the 20th floor overseeing the skyline views while taking a sip of your favorite glass of wine from the Royalton’s rooftop bar. Talk about perfect.

I’m never one to stick around hotels for too long when I am traveling. For once, I wanted to hang out at the hotel and enjoy everything about it. First, my room was so dreamy. I fell in love with the view of the city from the balcony, I wanted to hang out there and people watch for hours. Which I did a little every morning during my stay. Also, fill the bathroom bathtub with bubbles and order room service because it looked THAT good. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and I wasn’t able to do so (but will do it when I go back!).

The room had its own living room area, an interactive TV, high tech everywhere, an iPod station, and so much more I can go on! This hotel room reminded me of my own home with the lofty feel to it, I almost want to stay thats why I didn’t want to leave.

Regularly, some of us don’t actually grub at the hotel where we stay, but I highly recommend doing so when you visit the Royalton. I loved the rooftop restaurant Ristorante Asellina for some delicious pasta at night and also the Rooftop bar – it’s so vintage. Basically, when are you going? Haha!

New York is one of the best cities to visit during the Summer. Everyone will tell you it’s best to visit during the Fall, because the leaves start changing color. In my opinion, New York is just as stunning in the summer. The city transforms into this gorgeous playground of endless entertainment.
