A few days ago I drove up to Orlando with a girlfriend of mine to stay at the newest addition to Universal Orlando Hotels. I like visiting the parks once or twice a year to let the inner child in me out!

I know there are huge fans out there that like to visit the park almost every weekend. I personally can’t, but for those of you who are die-hard Universal Orlando fans, I may be saving you a few dollars on your stay.

I know you’re visiting the parks, but it doesn’t hurt to stay comfortable and stylish amirite? This stunning hotel is the most modern-chic hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Orlando.

I may be new to this, but my room had an iPad… yep, and iPad! It controlled the entire room from the lights to the kind of shows you could watch on TV. It gave you options to connect my Hulu, Netflix, and Youtube accounts to view more than just regular broadcasts! This is a plus for me because I’m a Netflix and chill kind of person and knowing I have this kind of amenity gives me peace of mind when I call it a night and come back to my room.

The top floors have a skyline view, which is floor-to-ceiling glass windows that oversee Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. It was so nice at night because I got to see the fireworks from my room. I’m almost certain this is the highest view in Universal Orlando now.

I barely eat at hotels whenever I do stay in one. I’m just never a fan of hotel food, but I also think it’s because I like feeling like a local so I always tend to step out and grab food in local eateries. This was not the case during my stay in Universal’s Aventura Hotel. I was so exhausted from walking all day that I had breakfast and dinners at the hotel’s Urban Pantry and surprisingly I LOVED IT!

*highly suggest their eggs-benedict with smoked salmon from the roast kitchen and their veggies and protein bowls!*

I did not love how they don’t serve room service for breakfast only for lunch and dinner, but overall there are other dining options inside the hotel:

  • Roast Kitchen (breakfast/dinner only)
  • Burgers (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
  • Pizza Station (lunch and dinner)
  • Noodles & Sushi (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

I know this hotel has one of the best views in all of Orlando for sure! Their Bar 17 Bistro has the nicest skyline I’ve seen in this city. You can see all the parks including Vocalno Bay, but you can also see Downtown Orlando, and the suburbs area as well.

Hotel Features:

  • Guest parking for a fee
  • Luggage services
  • Car Rental (Axis)
  • Resort Shuttle (passes every 10 minutes!)
  • Universal’s Studios Store
  • Fitness center
  • Pooooool!
  • Early Park Admissions* (this was keeeey! If you want to be the first one inside the park, you have admission to go inside before anyone else!)

Overall, this was a very fun stay. I was invited by the hotel, but all opinions are my own, and the integrity of this blog is more important to me.
